Anna Jones (BSc Dip MBPsS MSc BACP) is an integrative psychotherapist who is also studying for a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology
She is a registered member of the BACP and is also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. She has over five years’ experience working as a therapist, including both in the community and the NHS.
As an integrative psychotherapist, Anna can tailor her therapeutic approach to the needs of the client. She has a strong interest in psychodynamic theory, child development and attachment neuroscience. This means Anna works with clients to identify how the past is influencing their present lives and relationships, as well as understanding how attachment processes and family dynamics have influenced the individual’s self-identity and the ways they relate to others.
Anna works with adults and older teenagers across many issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship difficulties. She aims to provide a safe and supportive environment to work through current concerns in such a way that enables individuals to live more freely and fully.
Anna currently has spaces free in her Thursday evening clinic. Once you get in touch, you will have an initial twenty-minute free phone consultation. Following that, if you both feel there is potential to work well together, you will have an initial face-to-face assessment.
