Beverley Husbands


Beverley is a trained Person Centred Therapist, working in Private Practice, Mind Mental Health, Trainer and Facilitator of Groups. She is a Registered Member of the BACP.

She is a trained Professional Counselling Supervisor and Supervises trainee counsellors and qualified counsellors. 

Beverley has worked for 20 years in a range of settings such as Educational settings and Primary Health Care. Her overarching training as a Therapist, and educator has afforded her opportunities to work directly with a diverse range of client groups and a range of service areas.

With her breadth and depth of clinical experience it allows her to integrate and assist individuals needs by employing a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions to holistically support the individual to manage their emotional well-being.

She has successfully worked with individuals impacted by:

  • Depression, 

  • Anxiety

  • low self-esteem, 

  • confidence issues, 

  • redundancy, 

  • bereavement / loss, 

  • childhood trauma  

  • Trauma

  • Cultural matters

  • Intersectionality

Beverley provides both long-term and short-term weekly therapy sessions in a safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental environment in which she helps the individual to explore what might be troubling them, to gain greater clarity about their life and increase their personal awareness.

Beverley also develops and provides group-work to meet identified needs of client groups e.g stress management, relaxation techniques, coping skills, self-care and safety planning.
