Lynsey Hotchkies
Lynsey Hotchkies is a psychotherapist working with individuals and groups
I have over 25 years of experience working both in private practice, the NHS and with various charities.
I work with both individuals and groups and have undertaken a variety of different trainings which allows me to work holistically and to adapt to what you might bring to our work together. I aim to create a relationship within which we can work together creatively on arising issues. Sessions are weekly for 50 minutes. You may be coming with personal struggles, relationship issues, work issues as well as transitioning stages of life and finding purpose. Often clients start therapy with concerns about anxiety and depression, self-esteem, or just feeling sad and that something isn't quite right.
Prior to training as a therapist, I worked as a lawyer. I have also worked as a senior manager within the charity sector and a trainer for psychotherapists and counsellors.
During the initial session, there is an opportunity to experience some of the ways that I work, answer questions and explore what has brought you to therapy. Attending a first session is not an obligation to continue but is exploratory and there is no charge.
I am registered with UKCP and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I am currently taking referrals for psychotherapy or counselling, in person (in Peckham) or online (via Zoom).
