I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

Starting therapy, whether for the first time or as someone who has experienced it before, can feel daunting and unknowable. We don’t know how it’s going to feel or exactly what’s going to come from the process. A huge support in this uncertainty can be found in the creation of a safe and non-judgemental therapeutic space to explore what is going on for you. Helping to create this safe space is part of my commitment to you in our counselling together.

Prior to working in counselling, I spent many years in the Arts and have worked with people from that sector in my counselling work.

I see people facing a variety of issues such as relationship and/or family problems, anxiety, childhood trauma, bereavement, loss of identity, low self-esteem and confidence, work-place stress and issues around pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood. I firmly believe that feeling heard and understood by another can have a powerful effect and that through the building of a trusting and secure counselling relationship, a person in counselling can start to gain a new perspective on what's going on in their lives.

I offer sessions either face to face, online or over the phone and my availability tends to be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the day.
