Natasha Lewis

Natasha Lewis, BSC (Hons), Registered MBACP is an Integrative Counsellor offering short (6 – 12) and long term (12+) counselling to individuals and couples.

I currently work with both individual clients and couples. I have worked with individuals in secondary school, community mental health, charities, NHS and private practice providing both short-term and long-term counselling.

I am training as an Integrative Counsellor where I can use skills from different theoretical perspectives such as Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and Existential Counselling to suit each individual client needs.

I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy, which allows the couple to look at their current cycle of feeling and thoughts and how that impact on their behaviour towards each other. My work with couples encompasses an integration of the theories outlined above and Emotionally Focused Counselling for Couples.

My approach is to build a good relationship with client(s) and I provide them with a safe, warm and confidential environment. In this environment they can learn to grow through processing their thoughts and feelings to gain insight into understanding themselves, others and the world around them in order to live their best life and fulfil their individual or relationship potential.

Recent training in Mental Health First Aid, Certificate in Relationship Counselling, Counselling and Therapeutic Interventions for working with women overcoming violence.

I am offer short-term counselling of 6, 9, 12 or 24 sessions and long-term counselling.
