Shane Joshua
Shane is a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with adults
Starting therapy can be a huge step to take, stepping out into the unknown and exploring what is on your mind with someone you don’t know can be a scary proposition. How will it be? What do I bring? Will they judge me? Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have decided to return, I am here to listen and support you on your journey.
I offer a safe, supportive, empathetic, and non-judgemental space to allow you to work through whatever you bring. More importantly, giving you a space where you feel you can be open and be yourself without worry.
I see people who may be coming to therapy for many reasons such as:
Dealing with stress and anxiety and pressures in your day-to-day life.
Navigating and recognition of life transitions.
Creating and sustaining meaningful relationships.
Feelings of low mood or depression.
Trouble regulating, understanding, and articulating emotions.
Navigating and grieving a loss, bereavement, or end of a relationship.
Abusive relationships and domestic violence.
Unresolved issues from your past (trauma, abuse, or neglect).
