Sharon Irvine

I am a humanistic counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
As a Humanistic counsellor, I work in a warm, non-judgemental way, supporting adults around concerns including:
low self-esteem,
anxiety,
depression,
family crises,
relationship breakdowns.
As we work together, people develop a deeper understanding of what's going on for themselves. This growing awareness can help to bring gradual life changes.
Over the past 8 years I have provided long-term private therapy, as well as short-term therapy within the NHS. My additional experience in equalities and social policy enhances my counselling skills through an understanding of culture, change and difference.
My fees are £50 per 50-minute session, with concessions for students and people in receipt of pensions or benefits. I offer short (6 to 12 weeks) as well as longer-term therapy, depending on what the client requires.
