Tamsin Cooper-Jones

I am a qualified integrative counsellor working with adults in South East London and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Being an integrative counsellor means I draw from different theories including person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT to tailor the sessions to your individual needs. I understand that everyone's needs and goals are as unique as them and so my ability to adapt to this is pivotal to my practice.

Working integratively lends itself to an organic and holistic exploration of how you experience the world and this can help you process difficult past or current experiences, better understand relational patterns, and gain a different perspective.

I provide a calm, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can take time for yourself and explore the issues you're experiencing at your own pace.

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues including:

  • bereavement

  • depression

  • anxiety

  • childhood trauma

  • perinatal mental health issues

  • experiencing low self-esteem or low self-worth

  • relationship issues

  • work-related stress

Whatever it is that brings you to counselling I will endeavour to approach each session with a genuine curiosity to understand what life is like for you. Through this, my aim is to understand how we can work together to enable you to move forward feeling empowered and with a greater sense of clarity.

I am available for face-to-face sessions on a Tuesday morning and offer long-term or short-term work. I understand that seeking counselling can feel daunting and so I offer a free initial 15-minute conversation where we can see how we might work together and explore any concerns or questions you may have.
